how it works
The session has three moments. First, cleansing and gentle exfoliation with the device tip. Then, vacuum extraction of impurities and blackheads (no squeezing). Finally, the infusion of serums with antioxidants, peptides and hyaluronic acid, depending on what the skin needs that day. It can be combined with the deep facial cleansing or a mask.

How is it different from the deep facial cleansing?
The deep cleansing is manual and more intense on extraction; Hydrafacial uses the device and adds the infusion of actives. They are often combined in a single session.
Does it work for oily or acne-prone skin?
It's usually a good option for oily skin and congested pores. With active inflammatory acne, the physician decides at the consultation whether it's appropriate or whether the inflammation needs treating first.
