The Hollywood Peel — also called carbon peel or carbon laser — is a laser treatment over a thin layer of activated carbon applied to the skin. The laser "pops" the carbon particles, sweeping away dead cells, excess oil and impurities from the pores, and gently heats the dermis. It became famous because it leaves the skin instantly radiant and has no downtime.

how it works
The skin is cleansed and the activated carbon lotion is applied, penetrating the pores as it dries. Then the laser covers the face in two passes: one that heats and one that "pops" the carbon. It feels like mild warmth and small snaps. It ends with a soothing mask and sunscreen.

Is it a chemical peel?
No. Despite the name, it doesn't use acids: it's laser over carbon. That's why it doesn't peel or require downtime.
Does it work for all skin tones?
The Nd:YAG laser is among the safest for darker skin, but the physician adjusts the settings at the consultation according to your skin type.
How often can it be repeated?
Every 2 to 4 weeks in a treatment cycle, or every month or two as maintenance.
